TBT: Same Ol’, Same Ol’

Greetings friends and welcome to another throwback Thursday post! I mentioned last time that my friend Leah, whom I got adopted Hunter from 2 years ago recently sent me some of Hunter’s puppy pictures. Occasionally I like to scroll through them just to see how much he has changed. I was doing just that this morning when Hunter struck a pose that was almost identical to one of his puppy pics! I couldn’t resist the comparison!

I wonder what puppy Hunter was dreaming about in this picture. Big Hunter is definitely dreaming about hiking, swimming, and lots of treats!

Hunter will turn three in September! We’ve already noticed some changes… although it may be attributed to the hot weather we are experiencing here in NYC. His puppy energy isn’t as high as it used to be. For example, he started to make his way out the park after a few tosses with his beloved frisbee the other morning. Unbelievable! He loves frisbee time! Of course, a major change is his physique itself. He lost most of his puppy-like characteristics and features. Plus, as I’ve brought up many, many times before.. his fur! It looks like we bleached him! Haha.. (trust me, we didn’t!). Until next time.

Puppy blog #126: Care to Share?

woof woof! Hunter here. Both mommy and papa are at work today. I know.. shocker. Mommy has a job. Although she would love to spend ALL her time with me, she told me that she can’t.. because then we would be broke and homeless. To be honest, mommy might have exaggerated the situation because I know papa would never leave me homeless, though I can’t say the same for her. I think he would leave her out in the streets in a heartbeat. Besides I always hear papa telling mommy that he just can’t seem to get rid of her, and that she keeps coming back! haha! Just kidding. Anywoofs, my parents came home from grocery shopping yesterday with an entire rotisserie chicken! It smelled so good and looked so delicious. Just thinking about it now is making my mouth water! I kept staring and staring, knowing that mommy would eventually give in to my sad puppy eyes. I think I’ve mastered that skill pretty well.

Wanna share?
Please, please, PLEASE share? What if I smiled for you?

The third try definitely worked. Mommy kept giving me pieces of her chicken in between her own bites. Then Papa rinsed the rest of the chicken of all its salt and oils before putting it in my dog bowl. Hunter-10, parents- 0. It was one tasty treat! I hope they buy more chicken soon. YUM! Hunter out.

Puppy blog #125: Friday!

woof woof! Hunter here! It’s Friday, it’s Friday!!!! I know you humans are always excited for the weekend. For some of you, Fridays usually mean a shorter day, courtesy of your nice bosses who believe in “Summer Fridays.” It’s the official day that cues the start of the weekend. The day before the summery BBQs.. mmmm, BBQs... visits to the beach (which is still on my bucket list), long nights out.. or if you’re anything like my parents, relaxing nights at home with their favorite dog (ME!). I like the weekends because I get to the spend the most time with my parents on these two days.. well actually, to be honest.. I’m just happy I get to spend time with papa. I see my mommy way too often.. not that it’s a problem.. (if you’re reading this mommy, I love you both equally! Promise!)  Our walks are longer and so are my belly rubs! Can’t complain!

This is my overly excited dance around my house!
And now I’ve tired myself out! Time for my nap!

Enjoy your weekend!! Hunter out!
